About Us

About Us

Welcome!  We are so glad you have found us! We are delighted to have you worship with us! We are a church seeking to follow Jesus, to call others into relationship with him, and to see God’s kingdom grow.

My name is Pastor Cornelius Johnson, the new Pastor of Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church. I am a recently retired Navy Chaplain, having serving in the military for 22 years, and I am delighted to serve in this new calling.

We are located in the suburbs of Washington, DC.  When you worship with us you will notice that the Bible is central to all our activities.  That is no accident, for we believe that God’s Word is inspired and is of great profit to our progress in holiness as those who believe in Jesus.  You will also discover that we are interested in sharing with others how they can receive Jesus’s great gift of eternal life.

We pray for those who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and we have an active tract ministry in the Washington, DC area through which we share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what…

The Means of Grace

The “Means of Grace” are those ordinary things given to believers by Almighty God to strengthen our faith and bring about growth in grace. These video lessons help us understand what these “means of grace” are, how our Lord uses them in the hearts of the followers of Jesus Christ, and our need to use them to draw closer to our Savior.

Joseph: A Type of Christ

The generations of . . . The Book of Genesis is divided up using these words: the generations of “someone or something”. In fact, Genesis 2:4 introduces the reader to “the generations of the heaven and of the earth”. In Chapter 5, we read about the “generations of Adam.” The last generation named is that of Jacob.
